Aretha Franklin, universally acclaimed as the “Queen of Soul” and one of America’s greatest singers in any style, died on Thursday 16th August 2018 at her home in Detroit. She was 76.


Rolling Stone magazine put Ms. Franklin at the top of its 2010 list of the100 Greatest Singers of All Time,
